this is my sister deanna… aka neenee as i like to call her…

she is my hero…why you ask?

she has the biggest heart of gold, the smile of a thousand hugs and kisses, the wit of someone well beyond her years, the strength of a bull, the innocence and essence of life, the joy of a child, the laughter that makes my world a better place…

my sister is over 7 months pregnant right now, and that in itself is a MIRACLE and a BLESSING…she was unable to conceive for over ten years of trying and endless attempts and avenues, and with what life continued to throw her, she was so strong…but alas, she is pregnant, she is beautiful, and she has the attitude everyone should have when being blessed with a miracle….she is positive, radiant, and courageous…she is confident, soft, and lovely…i love watching my sister with my adopted nephew aedyn, who will be 1 on sept. 21st…she is an amazing mother to him and will be an amazing mother to connor patrick in a little over 2 months…throwing my sister her baby shower for this miracle baby was such a gift…the funny thing is, both aedyn and connor are miracles…blessings…unexpected miracles really have  a way of revealing the strength one has inside of them, the hidden hero in all of us…

nee is my best friend, my kindred spirit, my life line…she is my sissy, and im so proud to be hers…

My sister is my hero…and i love her with all of my heart…

im a pirate!

no, not really….but yes, if you were wondering, that IS a tea bag on my eye!

why you ask?

i will tell you…willingly!

one of the most disgusting things that has ever happened to me happened this morning…

my eye was being weird a ittle over a week ago…i had a nasty stye…lasted for like 5 days, it was painful, and UGLY!

my eye begn to hurt yesterday again, like it did when i started getting the stye…hmmmm, i wondered…so i have been keeping my eye on it, eyes drops, clean face before bed, etc…

this morning, i go to look in the mirror, and OMG….

THERE WAS A ZIT ON THE INSIDE OF MY EYELID!!!!

needless to say, i totally freaked out, thought i might vomit, that this WAS NOT REAL…but oh yeah, it was…i am seriously scarred for life by this…i HAD to share this…i mean, how many eye zits have you ever had?

so, the teabag thing is apparently an eye zit remedy…interesting!

i feel like the guy from the movie something about mary with cameron diaz…marys ex-boyfriend woogie, who has all those eye zits in the movie…

seriously, YUCK!

so, there is this girl who lives with me…she is not what i said above…she is not average, and she is not just a roomate…that word does not do her justice…

ELIZABETH is an amazing person all around…she is smart, witty, adventurous, mysterious, and there is one more thing….

SHE IS A BAKER!!!! i have a real live betty freakin crocker living in my house…

now, not just a person who likes to bake, but an amazing and creative baker…she has a touch that is practically perfection whenver she makes anything in that darn oven…

for example, um she made some seriously fabulous homemade blueberry muffins the other night…just becasue!  see this is what i am saying…she just has an inkling to make something, and does!  and its always AWESOME…these blueberry muffins were fluffy, fresh, sweet, and sugary to perfection on top…i dont know how she did it…but everyone who was over for games LOVED them..yeah, we had homemade blueberry muffins during our game night, not the average snack!  so for those of you who cannot attend our quite frequent gatherings at the ol’ risinger casa, man you are missing out…cuz my girl elizabeth…she da bomb baker! she is always the “dessert” person for life group…no one ever dares to sign up for dessert, cuz we dont want to…we want elizabeths creations…

oh, yeah, why did i write this?  cuz i just finished a slice of her homeade, yet again fabulous, amish friendship bread! 

quite frankly, there is nothing average about elizabeth…and i dont know why she doesnt just open up a freakin’ bakery already…shed have a CRAP load of customers…so, elizabeth, i know you will read this…you got one LIFE LONG customer already!  get to it girl! 

god, im glad you are my roomie…its exciting to always have something fun to taste…and i love being your guinea pig…oh, and you are pretty darn swell yourself too!  love ya girl!
