SO, what the hey!  southern california is so weird with its weather…

apparently we are suppose to be wusses when it comes to weather…because when its 103 one day and like 50 the next with crazy thunderstorms, what do people expect?  we clearly will be those people whose bodies cannot adjust to a drastic climate change every other day…making us WUSSES who get sick!

so, enougy with this gloom crud…how is it that one day i am sweating form heat in my bed one night and freezing the next?

thought it was funny when i went to read blogs this morning….everyone and thier mother blogged about the storms…jon took some pics…adam posted about the tornado fiascal…we were driving home last night form me picking him up form work and all i can say is “i was scurred!”  i hate driving in weather like that..

so, bring back the sun…but not quite so scorching…

notice how i titled it like i have been in the past…well, no, but i plan to go again next year, and the year after, and the year after that…you get the picture!

STAGECOACH was AWESOME! (for those who dont know its a HUGE country music festival in the dessert)

a few weekends back, i went to stagecoach with my mom and my sis-in-law…man, it was fun!

mom and i went friday night, on a whim, drove out there and got lucky with a hotel room at the MOTEL 6…whew!  it was the last room…started the weekend listening to the eagles…AWESOME!  i seriously love the eagles…grew up listening to them in drives out to the river with friends and their families…anywho…mom and i got to see them..we had VIP passes again cuz JON rocks at his job (love ya babe, thanks)

So much has happened in the last few weeks, i have just gotten behind in bloggin about it…

lets see, stagecoach, mothers day, SCHOOL (aghhhhhh), im going crazy…3 weeks left of the quarter…then mt first year will be done…um, fam visiting…so, needeless to say, i got some pics to post..

but i just havent had the time…soon thogh…

so, its 5:30 in the morning and where am i?

I am on my couch, with a migraine and  stuffy nose…BLOGGING!

i got sock on mothers day…thought it was just my allergies…uh, not so much…i was in bed allllll day yesterday
, which for those of you who know me, was monumental…the funny part is i had no desire to get out of bed…so, that tells ya how crappy i felt…

i was feeling a little better last night and thought id be up for work this morning, then class from 5-10 tonight, but i think i will only able to handle the class thing…which is the one that doesnt pay me…hmmmmm!

well, whatever, i got up and started a pot of coffee…i know i know, probably not the best way to get rid of your migraine, but i need whatever i can get right now, cuz i feel like crap!

meanwhile, my sweet husband is asleep in the room…i dont want to disturb him…so i am in the living room…alone…..feeling like poo!

we had my folks over for dinner tonight to celebrate their 60th birthdays with them…dads was april 21st, helens was may 7th…we had some yummy dinner i prepared…just kidding, el polo prepared it, i just made a salad…then we conversed for a bit, and then out came the game…

PICTIONARY…it was dad and jon vs. me and helen…who won you ask?

THE GIRLS!  we were bomb-diggity…helen and i came in from behind…wayyyyy behind, and then the boys caught up, then we SMOKED em’…we were so proud…

oh yeah, and we enjoyed some lovely dessert that earlier appeared as tho it was going to be “not so great,” but they all liked it…my dad had seconds…and he will be the first one who wont like some food and say something…not that he is rude, he just loves food and i told him to be honest, which he is always good at with me…tell it like it is dad…anyway, it was a hit!  who knew? we accompanied it with some coffee of course…

what was my dessert you ask?  well, it was healthy…it was an organic sugar free fruit cake with a creamy yogurty spread like frosting with fresh strawberries on top…the samplers of this desert described it as a dessert you might find in france, or a scone like treat…so, there ya go!

you never know what you will end up with…but it was not too shabby…want my recipe?

My stepmom turned the big –*-!0…out of respect, i chose not to post her actual age…

anyway, she is one of the most inspiring people in my life…she never fails to tell you she loves you, she helped me at a time in my life where i wanted to give up, and she has been an awesome parent figure to me…i hate that word “step-parent”…so i will just go with parenting figure…helen, i love you so much and my birthday  wish for you is for a year of new adventures, peace, and love every day…

My aunt mary and her husband josh, along with their daughter katie, have traveled to Chongqing to bring home the newest addition to the family…his name is DANEIL…they blog about their journey here…they say he seems like hes has been with them all along…GOD is so good…their family is so very blessed…we all cant wait to meet him…here are some pictures mary posted of their new family…isnt he cute..

so, um, here is heather and i surfin the web…at STAGECOACH…

they have this tent set up called recharge and relax…and they have all these computers set up with A.C. pumpin…so we are recharging right now…crazy huh?  they have interenet in a tent with air conditioning…what is the world coming too?

  so, um…here we are…i think we will stay here for a while…then go out into the muggy heat while we wait for CARRIE UNDERWOOD…awesome!

met up last night with dan and alyssa at coffee depot downtown…they are here visiting from up north in redding…all of us life groupies got to chill with them for a bit tonight while they are in town…WE MISS THEM SO MUCH…

anyway, they look great, especially alyssa and her cute prego self…GOD IS SO GOOD!!!! their story is crazy…

well, it was great to see them…they look so happy and alyssa looks awesome…im a loser and took no pics…but im sure someone else in our cirlce of people took some…most likely escamilla…

It was short and sweet, but just getting to see them was nice…even though we already know basically everything they are doig up there cuz of their blogs…i swear, blogs are the coolest thing ever….
