so, one of my new favorite people is this guy named jonathan…he joined our life group just recently, and i just have to say, he rocks! there is not one thing bad to say about him…he has been a great addition to our group…very open, kind, funny, and one thing that is really great is that he LOVES food…all kinds…he is always talking about food when we all eat together…anyway, im on a tagent…back to the point of this post…
so, anyone like sangria? I DO I DO!!! and so does our new pal jonathan…he introduced us to a nifty little treat in a jug…he calls it “my pal carlos, or our pal carlo thats what him and his friends call it he says)…its a very inexpensive, yet tasty sangria you can grab at your local vons, ralphs, whatev…for like 8 bucks for a huge jug…not bad…so i looked for it the other day, and sadly could not find it…well, we were all out to dinner tonight (where i had a lovely glass of sangria actually) and i told him i didnt find any…he was saddened by this, as was i…we all parted ways….got home and then jonathan shows up at our door a few minutes later and what does he have…our pal carlo in a bottle just for me…
now, isnt that just cool?

i have to admit, im sad to go…i love my family up here…but it makes me that much more excited to make the next trip…

Well, this lovely holiday has come and gone…
went to Killarneys with ma and sum int he afternoon for their all day event…had some fish ‘n’ chips, a brewsky, and listened to some jammin’ irish tunage…
then later on, went over to moms for an awesome irish meal of corn beef & cabbage…jon also got a haircut…finally…
cant pinch us….
then back to Killarneys to see that the line was so long they were doing the one in, one put thing…yeah, even with our nifty wrist bands we got earlier, we were not allowed in…so we went over to el torito, hung out…
had some laughs…
call me crazy, i like to dress up on holidays…
all in all, it was still a festive day! May the luck ‘o’ the irish be with ya…

3 thrilled and eager RISINGERS at the ITL’s…
well, just got back from the ITL awards…EXCITING! hmmm, i sense some sarcasm, hope i didnt offend anyone…no really, we went in honor of my father in law who apparently is dead…read jons post about it to understand…anywhoo, we won 9 out of 15 nominations, not bad…i took one for mother, the part, mot my mother, she got her own for costumes…go mom! oh and embarrased me in front of everyone there by introducing me as her daughter and recognizing my first show at landis auditorium at the age of 4 as gretl in sound of music…seriously ma, no one cared, but i love ya, no hard feelings…
word to the “Mother”
