2 years ago we said i do at the happiest place on earth…and since that day, i have grown more and more in love with jon every day…i have learned more, accepted more, gained more, and loved more…without him, i don;t know where i would be today..for this gift i have with him, i am forever grateful and abundantly blessed by God!

Happy 2 year anniversary!!!! Leta keep trekkin’ on our life journey together…

just bragging on my husbands mad skills…hes gonna be a successful photographer someday…he is well on his way…dont you agree?

I am proud to announce, I am the new owner of the Deluxe Elite Rewind Bagless, cyclone powered Hoover vaccuum…here she is folks, isnt she pretty?

i know i know…some of you are going, wht they hey kathy?  but if you knew my father, you would know why im excited about this vaccuum…it rubbed off on me…what can i say, i love to vaccuum…but not as much as doing laundry…

i know, im weird, so sue me…im gonna take her out of the box now..i already love my hoovie and am so proud of her…and she hasnt even started walking yet!

CAT summer theatre camp!

my current place of employment for the summer months is at the CAT camps in corona…i am assistant camp director and am having a blast…my job consists of playing dress up, creating fun and messsssssy obstacle courses for the theatre campers, promoting team spirit, doing silly skits that are very improvised, playing with glitter and glue while helping the kids create their costume pieces for the showcase at the end of the week (top hats made from scratch decorated)….and sweating my tush off while carrying heavy things and standing on my feet most of the day in the hot summer sun, all with a smile on my face!

the best part of this job is i feel like a kid for most of it…its really great…i get paid to be a kid for the summer, well, camp director, but whatever…no really, CAT camp is a great way for kids to sepnd a week of their summers, getting messy, making friends, and becoming faulous theatrical little beings…all in the course of a 5 day intensive singing, acting, dancing frenzy that at the end of the 5 days a show is performed…the kids work so hard, as do the teachers, and i get to help create and do all the silly funnnnn stuff, like condiment twister (yes, ketchup, mustard, jely, and relish), water kickball, balloon stomp, ducky water relays, and theatre scavenger hunts….

today, the theme for costumes was decade day…kids dress up every day based on the theme and get points…etc…

today, i was a cowgirl and i blew up over 40 balloons for the balloon stomp game….that was part of my day!

man, let me say tho, it is tough to be a kid…and tiring!
im so pooped, zapped, and just plain exahausted…tomorrow awaits…

welcome miss elizabeth to the risinger casa…yeah, fun times….community living, friendships blooming, and sharing life together…she is officially our new roommate!

what a true blessing it is to be able to live in a place that has allowed jon and i to open our home to others…its good in the way that it helped elizabeth out, heather out, and in the end, it helps us out…all in all tho, it is a wonderful challenge and example of how we are all trying to live our lives out for Christ…so, go risinger casa…where once it was a house of 2, it then became 3, and now 4…word!

no really, we are stoked to have her…i will say this: change is good, especially when it is helping others…im so excited to see how our new living situation molds itself…

well, we went…and let me just say…Coachella is crazy….entertaining, but crazy

i love to people watch, and jon and i had a great time doing that last night…can we say INTERESTING array of folk at the festival…Jon and i had the “VIP” status wristbands, and figured out finally what that meant…it meant we got to go hang out in a really cool area with what appeared to be more “normal” people, or just “older” folk…it was refreshing…after seeing all the teenie boppers and hippies, goth, freaky, and others, mixin in with people who were not dressed up for the occasion, or should, undressed up…yeaj, jon and i were in jeans and sweatshirts and flip flops…quite the minority…anywhoo, i dont have any exciting photos, but my husband got some, go to his blog to see “some” of the interesting things we saw…

well, we got there, walked like a mile to the entrance, got inside, i had to pee….gross, every porta-potty was empty of t.p. and there were sights and smells i wont write here just cuz you dont need to hear about it…wandered all over, people watched, ate a burgeritto and garlic fries…walked some more, showed up at the VIP area, sat by a tree, people watched some more, went to find a good viewing spot of the stage…got coffee (i was dozing at 10pm, seriously?), people watched, jack sang, we danced as he sang…then we left, walked another mile to our car…and off we went…we had a great time together, i always like doing new adventures with jon…but we were both so tired…and we were thinking of sleeping in our car and going back today…hilarious! no really, we had fun…it was just what did i say before…INTERESTING!

oh, here is a pick of us making out, cuz everyone else was, so we thought, what the hey?  i mean, i like kissing my husband…

oh yeah, jack was cool….he didnt seem to fit in with the crowd either…

well, it was a fun night…we were exhausted driving home…man, i feel old!

was a good day…
jon and i slept in til almost 10…thats amazing! we enjoyed our morning coffee, of which we took photos of us and the pups lounging on the couch…but im a dilbert and deleted most of them on accident…here is what was left…

got there early to walk around “the village” near the claremont colleges…i love this place…had a great sandwich at a little dive for lunch, then some walking, and then some boba from another cute little place…still had some time to waste before the shower, so we went to the park…and we swung like 5 year olds…
