welcome miss elizabeth to the risinger casa…yeah, fun times….community living, friendships blooming, and sharing life together…she is officially our new roommate!

what a true blessing it is to be able to live in a place that has allowed jon and i to open our home to others…its good in the way that it helped elizabeth out, heather out, and in the end, it helps us out…all in all tho, it is a wonderful challenge and example of how we are all trying to live our lives out for Christ…so, go risinger casa…where once it was a house of 2, it then became 3, and now 4…word!

no really, we are stoked to have her…i will say this: change is good, especially when it is helping others…im so excited to see how our new living situation molds itself…

and never fails to catch on fire…i mean really, we were watching for a total of 30 seconds tops, and the damn mountain catches on fire…i only got a snipit of a video…not worth posting…the dogs were terrified and we waited a few minutes, then decided to go…now we gonna do what we do…GAMES!

well, here at the ol’ risinger casa, we have prepared a simple meal for the 4th of July…we will be having shredded bbq pork or bbq chicken sandwiches, a nice tossed green salad, and roasted sweet corn on the cob….the loudons will be joining us shortly to eat…im hungry…here is my table….

well, after dinner, we plan to go see mt rubidoux catch on fire! awesome!

earlier today, we (jon, heather, and i) went to see get smart…good times…then went swimmin’ in our 88 degree pool…also fun, watched our new roommate move most of her final things in…just chillaxin’ today…hows your 4th?

New Arrival…

My dear friend and he husband had their baby this past Sunday evening…Keala Jaden Philip Hughes was born Sunday June 29th, at 6:29 pm, weighing in at a whopping 10 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long…BIG hawaiian boy! We went to visit the last night to meet the new little one…

He is beautiful…my friend looks amazing too…Congrats you guys…love you!
